IdealStaffs is looking for a PeopleSoft Technical Consultant – Asset Management
The aim of this project is to modernize the configuration and features of the existing Asset Management module to meet the evolving requirements of UN. Since its original implementation, UN has expanded beyond a headquarters-based structure to include over 40 offices worldwide, each with assets needing tracking and management for effective oversight. The Administration (ADM) division is responsible for Asset Management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Replace the field “Document”(customisation) with “Area ID” (standard PS field) in all relevant tables to enable search in physical inventory.
Decentralise security roles and enable procurement users to assign users in country offices to be able to manage their own inventories with regard to location, custodian and location cost centre changes.
Enable Audit options to track all system actions related to assets.
Analyse ability to issue electronic property receipts.
Enable receipting for a pilot country office in a test environment.
Enable the asset insurance page in a test environment.
Support UAT and migration to production.
Technical Requirements:
Deep knowledge of the PeopleSoft Asset Management module in particular Physical Inventory
At least 8 years of proven professional experience as a PeopleSoft technical expert
At least 8 years of experience with People Code, including application packages
Experience with PeopleTools 8.58, including expert knowledge of PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application packages, Integration Broker, AWE, Event Mapping, Activity Guides, Search Framework, Acknowledgement and Questionnaire Framework.
Experience of both designing and executing technical solutions from business requirements in PeopleSoft.
Experience of data analysis.
Experience of being lead and sole technical resource on a PeopleSoft project and working with non-PeopleSoft professionals.
Experience with sql on Oracle database
Knowledge of how to leverage reporting tools: PeopleSoft Query, Connected Query, Pivot Grids, BI Publisher and Kibana Analytics
Experience of lead developer role on a project and the full end-to-end project lifecyle
Knowledge of using mobile devices for scanning of assets using open source solutions and the related integrations with Peoplesoft would be advantageous
Experience of providing user support

Qualification and experience
University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related discipline with at least eight years of professional work experience in the implementation and support of corporate applications including ERP.
Experience in the implementation and support of large Oracle PeopleSoft projects, in particular in Asset Management in Financials, 9.X
Language Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
