Summary
We are seeking experienced Network Architects with strong design skills and a solid understanding of infrastructure and emerging technologies. This role plays a strategic part in designing new services, adapting to technology shifts and client needs, and ensuring the successful architecture of network solutions. Ideal candidates are collaborative, quick learners, open-minded, and capable of managing multiple priorities while delivering work independently and on time.
Scope of Work / Duties
Assess customer requirements, perform scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, network infrastructure build, configuration, unit testing, and drive production deployments.
Plan, design, and upgrade network installation projects.
Troubleshoot network architecture issues and recommend system improvements.
Define and advocate cloud architecture strategies, covering internal and external platforms, tools, and systems.
Recommend network enhancements to optimize performance and reduce operational costs.
Collaborate with project leads and technical stakeholders in building and deploying IT solutions.
Oversee the successful operation and continual enhancement of services.
Work alongside business relationship teams during pre-sales to understand requirements, develop architecture designs, produce proposals, and prepare cost estimates.
Required Technical Skills
Must-have:
Strong communication and analytical skills to resolve complex technical issues.
Objective evaluation and recommendation of technical solutions.
Ability to adapt to ambiguity and manage time effectively.
Quick to adopt and implement new technologies.
Familiarity with various network operating systems (Cisco, Meraki, Checkpoint, Juniper) and cloud providers (Azure, AWS).
Expertise in best practices for managing, routing, switching, and monitoring network infrastructure (e.g., SDN, SD-WAN, BGP, MPLS, TCP/IP).
Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, WAN optimizers, DNS servers, authentication systems, and server interfaces.
Knowledge of virtual networking concepts (e.g., VMware, OpenStack).
Nice-to-have:
Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
High integrity and professionalism in handling confidential matters.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Project management experience (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, SCRUM, Agile).
Experience working in evolving environments and international teams.

Knowledge of additional UN languages is a plus.
