IdealStaffs is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Technical Consultant – AP/GL to support one of our international clients in the implementation of a new PeopleSoft solution.This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact project within a global organization, ensuring efficient financial and procurement processes across country offices.
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the ICT Solutions Coordinator and the Project Manager, the selected consultant will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation of the project.Key duties and deliverables include:
Develop a PeopleSoft solution aligned with the client’s functional design at the business process level, enabling the client to:a. Commit funds at the country office level.b. Record procurement expenses requested from the hosting agency.c. Implement an approval workflow.d. Generate procurement requests for the hosting agency.e. Match UNDP invoice items against procurement requests at the country office level.
Design and implement a reporting solution to track payment requests across country offices.
Provide support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by assisting the business owner, resolving issues promptly, and clearly communicating when requested changes are not feasible.
Prepare detailed technical documentation to support system migration and knowledge transfer.
Professional Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
At least eight (8) years of professional experience in the implementation and support of corporate applications, including ERP systems.
Proven experience in large-scale Oracle PeopleSoft projects, particularly in Asset Management and Financials (version 9.X).
Technical Expertise
In-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft Accounts Payable, Commitment Control, and General Ledger (GL) modules.
Demonstrated experience as a PeopleSoft techno-functional expert.
Strong proficiency in PeopleCode, including application packages.
Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Integration Tools, such as Integration Broker, web services (including external integrations), component interfaces, and file layouts.
Proficiency with PeopleSoft reporting tools, including SQR and Query.
Experience providing user support and issue resolution.

Languages
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
