IdealStaffs is looking for a PeopleSoft Security Analyst to support the Information Technology Division of the client, a specialized agency of the United Nations with offices around the world.The consultant will assess and enhance the PeopleSoft (HCM and Financials) security landscape, ensuring compliance, proper access controls, and improved monitoring across enterprise systems.
PeopleSoft Environment
Financials Modules in Use:Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Management, Banking, Billing, Contracts, Cash Management, General Ledger, Payables, Suppliers, Travel & Expenses, Project Costing.
HCM Modules in Use:Absence Management, Teleworking, Personal Profile, Recruitment, Performance, Position Management, Workforce Administration (Job), Payroll, Kibana Reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Review current PeopleSoft HCM and Financials security setup, including custom and delivered roles, permission lists, and user profiles.
Analyze existing user provisioning processes and identify risks related to delegation of authority, RBAC, and segregation of duties.
Document an updated PeopleSoft Security Model aligned with the principle of least privilege and internal compliance frameworks.
Recommend and help implement improved access control measures.
Propose enhanced procedures for user access updates and deactivation.
Develop audit-ready reports demonstrating compliance and traceability.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience with PeopleSoft Financials and/or HCM (version 9.x or higher).
Strong understanding of PeopleSoft security components, including roles, permission lists, and custom configurations.
Experience in RBAC design, SoD analysis, and access management.
Familiarity with audit and compliance standards (ISO 27001, COBIT, SOX, NIST, GDPR).
Ability to write custom SQL queries to analyze security data.
Knowledge of PeopleCode, workflows, and audit logs.
