Description:


The consultant will leverage their expertise to ensure data-driven decision-making and facilitate the achievement of organizational goals, as a techno-functional analyst specializing in data analysis and strategy. This role will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, contributing to the success of impactful projects.


Covering hands-on business analysis in IT projects, this role is focal to a diverse range of data activities including extraction, modeling, governance, and visualization. Its scope spans crucial operational domains like investment projects, grants, thematic focus, finance, budgeting, operations, and HR. Moreover, it entails advising on open data and APIs, offering direct support to project management tasks, often employing Oracle technologies at various stages.


Key Responsibilities


In this capacity, you will be expected to:

  • Utilize data extraction, modeling, and visualization tools to unearth insights that steer business strategies and growth.

  • Translate business requisites into comprehensive technical specifications and functional documentation, thereby ensuring a seamless transition from requirements to execution.

  • Spearhead end-to-end project management, fostering cross-functional collaboration for smooth execution within established timelines and quality benchmarks.

  • Provide strategic counsel on data architecture in alignment with organizational goals, contributing to sustained success.

  • Uphold data quality via validation routines and adherence to elevated standards, fostering a bedrock of dependable insights.

  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders, providing project updates and addressing queries to sustain alignment.

  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks, safeguarding uninterrupted data analysis and reporting.

  • Conduct training sessions and maintain well-organized documentation, empowering teams to harness data proficiently.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, propelling operational efficacy.

  • Advocate for process enhancements, streamlining data workflows, and championing innovative concepts.

Professional Qualifications and Competencies

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management or related fields is preferable.

  • Minimum of 5 years demonstrable experience in business analysis; combined project management experience is a valued asset.

  • Strong knowledge Oracle Peoplesoft, Oracle Data Warehouse, Oracle Data Integrator, and Oracle Analytics. Expertise spanning multiple areas is advantageous.

  • Proficiency in composing functional and technical specification documents.

  • Communicator – you understand the underlying requirements and business needs from discussions with colleagues and can synthesize the same into a clear, well-defined and understandable language to business, functional and technical colleagues alike. You are able to clearly and constructively articulate ideas, suggestions, feedback, instructions, options and recommendations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English essential.
