IdealStaffs Consulting is looking for an Oracle PeopleSoft Business Analyst for managing the PeopleSoft related projects provided by our customer.

The PeopleSoft Business Analyst will be responsible for analysis, configuration, maintenance, testing, and support for computer-based corporate application system upgrades, new releases, and optimization implementations.


The client's PeopleSoft runs the following modules:


Financial:

  • Asset Management

  • Accounts Receivable

  • Accounts Payable

  • Banking

  • Billing

  • Contracts

HCM:

  • Absence Management

  • Human Resource Core

  • Global Payroll Core

  • Performance Management

  • Recruitment

  • Employee Profile

...


The client uses the ERP Oracle PeopleSoft for both HCM and Financials, currently running version 9.2 and PeopleTools version 8.56. The application runs on Oracle databases.

  • JUNIOR position experience up to 3 years is required.

  • SENIOR position more than 5 years experience is required.


Requirements:

  • Experience in business analysis implementing and supporting various Oracle PeopleSoft modules such as HR, Payroll, Benefits, T&L, Self Service, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Projects, Grants, Purchasing, and Inventory.

  • Experience working the interface of information technology with functional groups within an organization. Experience with business process mapping and re-engineering.

  • Superior analytical problem-solving, design, and documentation skills.

  • Working knowledge of integrations and interfaces to other systems.

  • Ability to ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information

  • Work with key stakeholders to document current processes for major financial, regulatory and accounting systems

  • Convert process improvements recommendations to actionable functional requirements

  • Perform business analysis and requirements elicitation for system implementations and enhancements

  • Communicate technical and functional concepts to business users to facilitate decision making

  • Design application security leveraging Oracle standard security roles and managing the business through aligning employees to roles

  • Implement Oracle Financials Cloud ERP modules as the central Financial Systems platform

  • Excellent written and spoken English

Location of service delivery: In general, the consultants will work mainly at UN Headquarters. However, in some cases remote or hybrid work can be agreed.


Coordination: The prospective Consultant is expected to work under the supervision of UN’s technical personnel.


Communication Skills: The consultant should have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.


Experience: The consultant should have experience and expertise as requested in the profiles described below.
