IdealStaffs Consulting is looking for a Middleware Administrator in Valencia Spain for Middleware & Integration along with Authentication & Access Administration support for customer’s infrastructure.
Daily and project activities, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, business continuity and disaster recovery.
Assist the unit team members to carry out on-going activities and projects.
Prepare documentation where needed.
Provide “stand-by” support during weekends, holidays and outside normal working hours on a scheduled rotation basis and/or on a customer request basis, together with the other Unit members
Comfortable working both individually and as part of a team
Task and Responsibilities
Project support as a technical member; Troubleshoot complex problems.
Run the IBM-ISAM distributed infrastructure (federation Advanced Auth, Azure AD).
Administer Websphere application servers and a bespoke J2EE e-Banking application called CPD.
Full engagement in the maintenance lifecycle of applicable equipment/processes in the respective domain/area.
Monitor and escalate as needed for any anomalies of the system in their respective domain.
Ownership of Disaster Recovery procedures including documentation, coordination with other teams, development of procedures and ownership of activation procedures in an actual event.
Technical documentation and review with knowledge of industry best practices.
Collaborate with other teams as needed
Solid background in J2EE, Java application server administration (ie: installing Java app server from scratch, tuning, deploying apps).
Good communication skills (oral/written).
Excellent knowledge of English (verbal and written).
Knowledge of access management systems (IBM ISAM, Oracle Webgate, Siteminder, etc.)
Knowledge of identity federation and advanced access concepts such as Multifactor authentication (MFA) and Conditional access.
Knowledge on access concepts such as: Push Notification Login, TOTP/HOTP, Token. Binding, U2F, etc.
Knowledge of Java development.
Knowledge in middleware systems.
Knowledge in containerization on docker.
Knowledge of cloud computing technology.
Familiarity with business continuity framework.
Familiarity with ITIL best practices; engage in incident and problem management, including engagement in governance processes as needed e.g. CAB (Change Advisory Board) participation
Knowledge of Spanish or another official United Nations language is desirable.
