We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Systems Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing support to laboratory and production systems, assisting with maintenance work, and offering customer support at the 1st and 2nd levels. Your role will involve operating various laboratory and production systems, contributing to the further development of the current system architecture, and planning, implementing, and integrating Microsoft client-server environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Support laboratory and production systems, providing assistance with maintenance and customer support in the 1st and 2nd level.
Provide day-to-day IT support to users using the Service Now ticketing tools
Operate different laboratory and production systems efficiently.
Contribute to the further development of the current system architecture.
Plan, implement, and integrate Microsoft client-server environments.
Management of backups and Windows security patches with SCCM and manually
Provide expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system operations.
Stay current with technological advancements and recommend innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
Completed training in a technical environment (ideally IT specialist, IT System Electronics Technician, System Technician EFZ).
Proven experience in 1st and 2nd level support.
Familiarity with Microsoft products, including Office, client and server operating systems (Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows Server).
Experience with virtualization solutions (Citrix, VMware).
Proficiency with backup solutions (Acronis, Veeam, Symantec).
Knowledge of network technologies, including TCP/IP, Routing, Switch, Wireless, Firewall, Certificates.
Desirable: Experience in the pharmaceutical and/or laboratory environment (GMP).
Ability to work collaboratively in a team, demonstrating initiative, flexibility, determination, and reliability.
Strong oral and written German and English communication skills.
