Project: a globally scaled media processing platform, infrastructure supporting high profile sports events and breaking news, infrastructure in mobile units, we have all of them. IdealStaffs Consulting is looking for a highly motivated DevOps Infrastructure Engineer for one of its customers in Valencia, to automate the infrastructure for a global media platforms. Day-to-day, the Infrastructure Engineers are concerned with the automation and continuous deployment in application delivery, present in most phases of the software development lifecycle. You´ll be responsible for the automated deployment, reliability, performance, security, monitoring deployments and infrastructure.
What you will do:
Design and implement infrastructure and processes that support reliable, performant, secured application deployments.
Scale out and support our deployment platforms to meet growing demand
Design, develop, and deploy tools and frameworks to improve and automate software releases.
Apply your experience implementing infrastructure as code, transforming release pipelines and deploying into production with a NoOps mindset on highly performant DevOps pipelines. Add quality checks and test automation for your Infrastructure as Code.
Automate provisioning of infrastructure and code by leveraging the latest in configuration management tools, containers and service orchestrators.
Benchmark & optimize key operations metrics, ensure we meet operational SLAs.
Provide third line support for the automated application deployments and provisioned infrastructure.
Contribute to a no-blame culture that values learning, transparency, accountability, trust, kindness, and mutual respect.
Collaborate with international colleagues for globally scaled projects.
What we are looking for:
BA in Computer Science, IT, CS & Engineering (or equivalent) is required, MA preferred, or in place of a degree, 5+ years of relevant experience.
Strong Linux system administration skills
Strong experience in designing scalable & highly available service solutions using the latest tools and technologies
Experience with IAC (Infrastructure As Code).
You have experience with or similar tools: Ubuntu, GCP, GKE, K8S, K3S, Rancher, Spinnaker Github/Actions, Terraform, Ansible, Grafana/Prometheus, Zabbix, Graylog .
Familiarity with middleware services such as Redis, RabbitMQ and MariaDB
Experience in GCP, AWS and vMware vSphere is an advantage
Practical knowledge of IT Security and security engineering.
You can articulate technical solutions, limitations, obstacles and risks.
You enjoy a deep dive, your curiosity will take you anywhere you need to go.
Strong understanding of networking is a plus
You can combine well considered theory with pragmatism when called for.
Experience in working with Agile methodologies.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
