IdealStaffs is looking to add a dedicated Backend Engineer to its client's team in Iasi. The candidate will be directly hired by our client. This will be a dynamic environment, where you have the chance to participate throughout the complete product and software development lifecycle and to focus on software quality through peer reviews, refactoring, continuous integration and deployment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement systems for scalability, testability, supportability, and maintainability

  • Evaluate new technologies that could be brought to bear to solve the client's technical challenges as they arise

  • Develop solutions for complex problems both independently and with team members

  • Help resolve technical issues/blockers as a developer on the team

  • Help drive technical decisions for your team and influence technical decisions in other areas

  • Be creative, take your own initiative and solve some of the our most challenging problems

  • Work in a highly collaborative environment to build the next generation of products

Technology stack includes: Golang, PHP, Node, Typescript, Python, Docker, Managed MySQL (AWS RDS), Managed PostgreSQL (AWS RDS), Managed OpenSearch v1 (AWS OpensSearch), Managed ElasticSearch (AWS ElasticSearch), Redis, RabbitMQ, etc.

Architecture: Microservices, Domain Driven Design, CQRS, Unit Testing and Functional Testing


  • 3+ years experience with a modern OO programming language and open to learning Golang

  • 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of experience and education

  • Understanding of testing principles and high-quality software

  • Understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, DDD, CQRS

  • Understanding of message queues like RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS, etc.

  • Ability to learn and think critically about both system design and software engineering concepts and blend those perspectives pragmatically based on project needs

  • Familiarity with Git

  • Solid communicator, Focused, Accountable, Self Motivated, Collaborative

Nice to have

  • Experience working with developing software in languages such as Go or PHP

  • Experience building, operating and maintaining resilient, scalable distributed services

  • Experience working with the Linux operating system
