IdealStaffs is looking for an application packaging specialist that will assist in the provision of the packaging and integration service, provide ongoing support for packaged applications, and communicate with customers as well as third-party vendors. The candidate may be requested to provide ‘stand-by’ services during weekends, holidays and outside of the normal working hours.


Responsibilities

  • Create and validate windows installer MSI, MST and App-V packages.

  • Configure production application deployments.

  • Take part in service delivery processes:

o Incident management

o Request management

o Problem management

o Change management


Required skills

  • Windows Installer MSI packaging

  • App-V sequencing

  • MEMCM / SCCM application deployments

  • PowerShell


Soft skills

  • Team player

  • Customer focused

  • Fluency in the English language.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Required experience

  • Experience of application deployment management with MEMCM / SCCM or Intune

  • Experience of Windows Installer and App-V packaging and troubleshooting

  • Experience of AdminStudio, InstallShield, Master packager, or equivalent product

  • Windows 10

  • Minimum 3 years experience in large IT environments


Desirable experience and skills

  • Intune

  • MSIX and MSIX app attach

  • Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD)

  • FSLogix Profile Containers

  • Supporting application packages in a production environment.

  • Working with a remote packaging team.

  • MEMCM / SCCM: log troubleshooting

  • Windows updates

  • BMC ITSM, Remedy or similar ticketing technology

  • ITIL
